2. Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration: username, email address, password (stored as a cryptographic hash).
  • Profile information: optional display name, avatar, bio, and social links you choose to share.
  • Payment information: billing name and address. Card numbers are processed exclusively by our third-party payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
  • Communications: messages sent to our support team, forum posts, and any feedback submitted through the platform.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, time on site, click paths, and session duration.
  • Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and referring URL.
  • Cookies & local storage: session cookies for authentication, preference cookies for UI settings, and analytics cookies. See Section 7 for full cookie details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • If you connect a third-party account for single sign-on, we receive the username and public profile information that service shares with us.
  • Market price data is sourced from external data providers and is not linked to your personal identity.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account and membership subscription.
  • To deliver the platform features you subscribe to, including signal alerts and community access.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts).
  • To send product updates and newsletters where you have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the platform. Analytics data is not sold to third parties.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to fulfil your membership subscription.
  • Legitimate interests — platform security, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics.
  • Consent — marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: payment processors, cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and analytics tools engaged under data processing agreements that bind them to confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Legal requests: where we are required to disclose information to comply with a valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SuperHubber, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may transfer to the acquiring entity. We will notify affected users in advance.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes. Forum posts may be retained in anonymised form for community integrity.

7. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary: session authentication and security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional: UI preferences such as theme and language settings.
  • Analytics: aggregate usage statistics. You may opt out via the cookie preference panel or by using a browser opt-out mechanism.

We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@superhubber.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. International Transfers

Our infrastructure may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
